Great Deal at Amazon.com
(Hurry, though; this offer is only good until July 28th. Also, this offer is only for new Prime subscribers.)
My Savings This Week: A Shopping Marathon!
Next stop: Walgreens
All I got was 3 (yes, 3, obviously one is not pictured) packs of mechanical pencils for $.05 each.
Next I ran into CVS to use my lone Trident BOGO coupon. I would have had more, but I only got one paper because all the other papers were missing their inserts.
Total = $.10, and received $1 ECB
Next I went to Wal-Mart. I used my $2.00 Just Bunches coupon, some of my $3.00 Planters coupons, my $2.00 LiveActive cheese coupons, and my free Taste Escapes coupons. I also got some other things I needed. My total there was $14.11
After Wal-Mart I went into Food Lion. The juice was $2.00 after using the Food Lion $1 printable, I got 2 lbs. of strawberries and a pound of grapes by using the $2/$5 produce Food Lion printable, and free baby wipes and baby food with Food Lion printables. The cheese I got just because I needed it. I also got a frozen pizza to pop into the oven when I got home because I knew I'd be too tired to cook. My total was $14.23
Next I went to the other CVS because sometime during the course of the day I realized that I had let $20.00 in ECB's expire! Thankfully they are really nice there about letting you use them expired, but I didn't want to let them be any more "expired" than they already were, so I went ahead and used them. Thankfully it was a perfect week to need diapers!
1 pack of diapers = 11.49
1 Bic razor = 6.99
1 pack razor cartridges = 6.99
1 pack CVS pads = .99
1 bar CVS soap = .79
2 Trident gums = 1.49
1 gallon milk = 3.99
Total before coupons = $33.23
Minus $1 Huggies coupon
Minus (2) $4 Bic coupons
Minus $2 skincare coupon
Minus $.75 Trident coupon
Total after coupons = $21.48
Used $21 in ECB's
Total oop = $.55
Received back $6.99 in ECB's
Finally, I went to 2 different grocery salvage stores.
At the first store I paid $18 for all this. A rough estimation of what I would be willing to pay for this stuff at the grocery store with sales and coupons values it at around $45.00. That's a savings of $27.00, not off the regular price, but off sale price with coupons!
At the 2nd store I paid $20.00 for all this. A rough estimate of what I would be willing to pay for it values it at around $25.00. Not a huge savings there, but I did get it a little cheaper than I would with sales and coupons, and I didn't have to go through the trouble of clipping all the coupons.
My total for all this was $68.56. That's not quite 3 weeks worth of budget, but it should definitely last us at least 3 weeks with just a little restocking on the fresh foods every week.

Free Schick Quattro Titanium Trimmer
CVS Moneymakers for 7/20 - 7/26
The L'oreal Vive Pro products are BOGO this week. Using the BOGO coupon from the 7/13 S, you should get both free. But since you may use 1 coupon per item purchased, you should also be able to use the $1/1 from 6/8 or 7/13 S to make $1 on each set of 2. You are using the $1 coupon on the one you are "buying", and the BOGO coupon to get the other one free. Just make sure to give the $1 coupon first, otherwise it will beep because the store BOGO will have taken off the one, and the BOGO coupon will have taken off the other, and then there will be no item registered for the $1 coupon to attach to.
Also, the Trident Xtra Care single packs are BOGO. Using the BOGO coupon from the 7/20 S, you should get both free. There was a $.75/1 in the July All You magazine. If you use both the $.75/1 and the BOGO, you should make $.75 on every two that you buy. There is also a monthly deal where if you buy two Trident you get $1 ECB. My experience in the past has been that when there is a BOGO sale on a monthly ECB deal, usually the BOGO messes up the computer to where the ECB doesn't print. I wouldn't be surprised if the ECB will only print for every 4 that you buy. The 2 free ones probably won't count towards the ECB. If anyone tries, I'd like to know what happens.
Depending on how many of these items you buy, buy enough extra to cover the overage. You could buy anything that would equal that amount, or you could buy something else that would give back ECB's.
For example, here's what I will probably do:
4 Loreal products = $9.98
4 Trident gums = $2.98
2 Glade Scented Oil refills = 4.98
1 filler = $.52
Total = $18.46
Minus 2 $1 Loreal coupons = $16.46
Minus 2 BOGO Loreal coupons = $6.48
Minus 2 $.75 Trident coupons = $4.98
Minus 2 BOGO Trident coupons = $2.00
Minus 2 Glade $1 coupons = $0.00 plus tax
Pay $0.00 plus tax and receive 2 ECB's for the Glade and 1 or 2 ECB's for the Trident.

I despise hotdogs, but I bought hot dogs and buns because I was going to get a watermelon at $3.99, but I found a coupon for $3.00 off a watermelon when you buy Ball Park hot dogs and Sara Lee buns. After coupons, the hot dogs and buns were $2.50. Add the remaining $.99 from the watermelon, and I paid $3.49 for the watermelon instead of $3.99. So, even though I hate hot dogs, I'll take them! As I was walking away from the watermelons, I saw a coupon hanging on the Minute Maid to get it for free when you buy a watermelon. So, why not?
My total for everything was a little over $6.00.
Believe it or not, I'm kind of liking not having any $/$$ coupons for CVS. Since there's not a lot of deals, I don't spend forever in the store! But I've still been able to work enough deals to get my milk.
Total after coupons - $4.48
ECB's used - $4.00
Total oop - $.48
ECB's received - $3.00

I realized today that although I've printed off about a bazillion of these coupons myself, I've never bothered to share them with my readers. The coupon is for $3 off any Planters product when you buy 3 Planters, Nabisco, or Kraft products. There are several inexpensive items you can buy like Kraft Mac N Cheese, boxes of Jello, or Kool-aid packets. The coupon is good until August 31st. I've been on the lookout for a good sale, and there are several places with catalina deals on the nuts as well. Let me know if you find a good place to buy them.
Moms Need to Know has compiled all the links into one easy list. Several of the links are no longer working, but I was still able to get quite a few from this list.
