Dollar Store Décor

I have been seeing all over DIY/ blogland all the great deals people have been getting at the Dollar Tree so I decided to check it out myself. 

Here is what I found all for $1.00 each!!

New glass cylinders – I have been searching for more of these for my dining room table centerpiece at Goodwill but haven’t found any of late.  Now I just need some small and large ones because I got the medium ones NEW for $1.00!

A small metal planter – I have bought some of the small houseplants from IKEA and need some small planters to put them.  This will get spray painted. :)

A cute little ceramic bird for my spring-time decor.

I am leaving mine as is for now.  (Although I am thinking of going back for a few more!)  But I have seen them spray painted white and silver in blogland.

I also liked this little “architectural piece.”  I don’t have many pieces like this in my house and have made myself look for things like this that can be added to small arrangements of items on a mantel or shelf for visual interest.

And a bag of moss.  I hope to make a topiary soon and need this for the base.
