You ask how can CVS and Sears help you get some free clothes for your family? Well, here’s how!
This week CVS has an ECB deal – Buy a $50 Sears giftcard, get $10 ECB’s. That in itself can be a $10 moneymaker!
But here’s how to make it a $60 moneymaker!
Sears is having a promotion “Spend $50, get $50 on men’s clothing″, now through June 20th. Basically you buy $50 in men’s apparel and you get $50 in Sears come back cash (“come back cash” must be spent on men’s clothing.) You must submit this rebate form. Rebate must be postmarked by 7/20/10 and “Come Back Cash” expires 9/30/10. You can read all the details here.
So buy your $50 Sears gift card from CVS, get back $10 in ECB’s, making the gift card technically only cost $40. Then use that $50 gift card to buy your $50 worth of men’s apparel at Sears. Then submit your rebate and get back another $50 in come back cash to spend on men’s apparel at Sears.
Final cost: $100 worth of men’s apparel for $40!
You can’t beat that!
Remember, Father’s Day is this Sunday too!
This deal won't work. Sears won't allow you to submit for a rebate if you pay with a gift card. I saw this on several other blogs this afternoon.
ReplyDeleteI was just coming to say the same thing as the above comment. :( Still, $50 for $100 worth of clothes isn't bad.
ReplyDeleteI had come across this: "Save EXTRA $5 off $50 w/ code SEARS5OFF50 at cart (Must allow Pop-Ups and have Sears merchandise in Sears Cart)" So maybe while you use your Sears card online for the mens clothes you get the extra $5 worth.
