I would like to invite you step into our house during this autumn season. The candles are a lit, there is a “fire” burning in the fireplace, so pour yourself a glass of hot apple cider and enjoy looking at my fall décor!
Front door wreath
You are greeted by my gorgeous magnolia wreath. I have gotten so many compliments on this wreath and I really think it is my favorite fall wreath EVER! And it was so cheap, under $3.00!
Entranceway/Hallway
I have added a few pumpkins, a scarecrow, and some fall stems in among my pictures on my ledges.
You can also see my pinecone wreath that is on the inside of my front door! :) I love having something on the inside of the door for us to look at too!
Now let’s move into the Kitchen…
I have this weird space behind my sink that I always struggle to decorate. In fact, this fall vignette (my first official vignette!) is the first arrangement that I REALLY like!
I used a glass vase with a fall candle in it, surrounded by a leaf garland from Dollar Tree on top of a mirror I already had.
I got really crafty last night :) and really wanted to add a Thanksgiving sign to my vignette. So here is what I came up with. I had the scrapbook paper and frame already. I printed out this verse, burned the edges over a candle, and glued everything together.
This candle is an old Home Interior candle that I turned around so you couldn’t see the label and tied a bow of twine around it. It smells so good! :)
On the bar in the corner I have this candlestick and my Pilgrim salt and pepper shakers that are awaiting Thanksgiving. (Salt and pepper shakers from Publix a few years ago – I just love the commercials they used to have with the pilgrims in them!)
Here it is again in candlelight. :)
Eat-in kitchen
I showed you how I made my pumpkin topiary. All I have done since then was change out the placemats with some I used last year and add some tea lights for candlelight.
Dining room
I posted about my great deal on my knockoff Pottery Barn rattan chargers. I love these for fall but am going to enjoy using them throughout the year too.
This centerpiece was done the same way as my living room candle/mirror arrangement, just with burlap and a white framed mirror. I just tucked a Dollar Tree leaf garland around the candles. So easy to adapt for different seasons!
Living Room
These little fall leaves candle holders are from PartyLite and were gift from my mother-in-law. I have had them for years and they are one of my favorite fall decorations!
On my paper collector coffee table I have these lanterns. I just wrapped a garland of leaves (that I got on 90% clearance at Hobby Lobby last year) around and in between them.
I love the candles in them! I am finding ways to incorporate these lanterns in any décor! I already know what I am going to do with them for Christmas and it is sooooo pretty! :)
Mantel/Fireplace
You have seen pictures of my fall mantel and I haven’t really changed anything since then.
I love to light these candles in my fireplace – it makes it seem like there is a fire burning. :)
Got this scarecrow years ago at Hobby Lobby and he finds himself on my fireplace every year.
And that is it! Thanks for stopping by our house!(Come back tomorrow for another visit - Behind the scenes Fall House tour! This time there will be no staging, I am showing you everything, mess and all! )
Everything is so pretty!! Thanks for sharing all your ideas with us - I'm hoping to do more NEXT year for fall, need to get over to Hobby Lobby and Michaels and check out the sales - a pumpkin topiary is TOP of my list!! :)

Your home is absolutely beautiful! You should be proud, you've done a great job.
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone! I REALLY enjoyed fall decorating a lot more this year. I had a lot of inspiration and was excited to come up with some new frugal wreaths and ideas.
ReplyDeleteIf you are wanting to add to your fall décor for next year (or even enjoy it for a week or so now!) NOW is the time to start looking. Most stores should be at 50% off at least and leading up to Thanksgiving will go to as much as 90% off. I love raiding Hobby Lobby the week of Thanksgiving or thereabout when everything is 75-90% off!
I linked to this post for blog of the week on my sidebar.
ReplyDeleteI came over from Tracy's. Your house doesn't look thrifty! Good job! :)
ReplyDeleteWhere did you get your lanterns? I really like the detail they have!
